Hash of the latest Bitcoin block, live

What it is
A hash is a short fingerprint of any data. Change one character of the input, and the fingerprint changes completely.
Every Bitcoin block carries the hash of the block before it. That single detail is what turns separate pages into a chain.
How to read it
A valid Bitcoin block hash must begin with a long run of zeros, set by the difficulty of the network. Those zeros are the visible proof of the work it took to write the page.
